About Biway Market
Located at 954 E 4th St, Long Beach, CA 90802, Biway Market operates as an asian grocery store serving Long Beach in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Long Beach with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6:30 amβ12 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (562) 435-2445. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating is 3.7 out of 5 from 32 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Long Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Convenient, but that's it. The food/candy/soda/chips etc are often expired , and to add salt in the wound it's very overpriced. One time I bought some crackers there for a chili I made, only to get home and find that the box had been taped up and there were crackers open and loose on the inside (And after closer inspection, they were also expired) Honestly, it's worth going a little further down the road to the 7/11 or Chevron.

I have frequent this neighborhood store to find Expired Caddy, Soda and other items, I have bought it to the attention of the staff as well as the owner, and to no avail the problem persist. The store is family owned and find them to be very nice people but they need to check their stock better.

They have just about every item you need until you can go shopping at your regular, larger grocery store or market. Their prices are quite reasonable, as well. For convenience and a very good variety of everything you could possibly need - this store is it! You'll find what you need or a very good alternative!

Very friendly staff, and they have everything! However, they need to clean and tidy up the store. Especially the front counter area. Also, the flooring needs help.
